Acceptable Use Policy

Effective Date: Immediate • Governing: All Global Compute, VPS, Dedicated Hardware & Anycast Network Traffic

1. Purpose & Core Objective

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the strict standards of conduct governing all compute nodes, Virtual Private Servers (VPS), bare-metal dedicated servers, Cloudflare Spectrum gateways, IP allocations, and transit bandwidth provided by Altivora Hosting.

Our mission is to maintain an ultra-clean, high-speed, enterprise-grade hosting environment for developers, gaming server operators, and businesses. Any activity that threatens the reputation of our IP space, saturates datacenter switches, or harms third parties is strictly prohibited.

2. Strictly Prohibited & Zero-Tolerance Activities

Engaging in any of the following activities results in immediate, permanent service termination without notice, refund, or data export:

Network Attacks & Stress Testing: Originating Denial of Service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, SYN floods, amplification scripts, UDP floods, IP spoofing, or running booter/stresser utilities.
Malware, Phishing & Botnets: Hosting, distributing, or running ransomware, trojans, botnet command-and-control (C2) daemons, credential harvest pages, or scam banking portals.
Unauthorized Scanning & Exploits: Port scanning, vulnerability probing, brute-force password attacks, or attempting unauthorized access to any third-party network or server.
Unsolicited Email (SPAM): Operating open mail relays, bulk email marketing tools, email scrapers, or hosting websites promoted through unsolicited spam messages.
Cryptocurrency Mining on Shared VPS: Continuous 100% CPU cryptocurrency mining (Monero, Bitcoin, etc.) on standard VPS nodes that impairs neighbor tenant performance.
Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Absolute zero-tolerance policy. Any account identified hosting CSAM will be terminated immediately and referred to law enforcement authorities.

3. Game Server Conduct & Protocol Integrity

For customers operating game servers (including Minecraft, FiveM, SA-MP, CS2, Rust, and Discord bots):

Malicious Client Mods & Cracks: Distributing game cheats, hacks, unauthorized client cracks, or malicious server plugins containing hidden backdoors or tokens is strictly forbidden.
Inbound Attack Resiliency: While Altivora provides automated edge DDoS filtering, intentional provocation of massive multi-hundred-gigabit attacks that exceed purchased plan limits may result in temporary port blackholing to safeguard datacenter peers.
Proxy Protocol Alignment: Game server administrators must ensure proper protocol synchronization when operating reverse proxies (e.g., Velocity, BungeeCord, HAProxy) to prevent connection loops or unauthorized IP spoofing.

4. Resource Monopolization & Fair Use

To preserve multi-tenant virtualization performance on VPS nodes, accounts must not continuously monopolize host hypervisor resources (such as sustaining 100% Disk I/O or sustained unmetered synthetic bandwidth loops) in a manner that creates noisy-neighbor degradation.

Dedicated Bare-Metal servers are exempt from shared neighbor CPU throttling, as clients have 100% exclusive access to the physical cores, RAM, and hardware.

5. Abuse Investigation & Law Enforcement Cooperation

Altivora actively monitors network flow telemetry and collaborates fully with national and international law enforcement agencies, computer emergency response teams (CERT-In), and reputable cybersecurity research organizations.

If an IP address on your server is reported for confirmed abuse, you will receive an urgent ticket requiring resolution within 12 to 24 hours. Failure to remediate reported abuse will result in temporary nullrouting or permanent account termination.
