Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) | Altivora Hosting

1. Purpose & Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the usage of all compute instances, virtual private servers (VPS), game servers, IP networks, Cloudflare Spectrum gateways, and bandwidth provided by Altivora Hosting.

This policy is designed to protect our infrastructure, our customers, and the broader global Internet from malicious, disruptive, or unlawful conduct.

2. Strictly Prohibited Activities

Engaging in any of the following activities will result in immediate service termination without prior warning or refund:

Network Attacks & Scanning: Launching Denial of Service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, UDP/SYN floods, port scanning, IP spoofing, or running stresser/booter tools.
Malware & Phishing: Hosting, distributing, or executing ransomware, trojans, keyloggers, botnet command-and-control (C2) servers, or counterfeit phishing web pages.
Unsolicited Email (SPAM): Operating open mail relays, sending bulk unsolicited marketing email, or hosting websites advertised in spam campaigns.
Crypto Mining on Shared Compute: Running continuous cryptocurrency mining (Monero, Bitcoin, etc.) on standard VPS nodes that degrades neighbor CPU performance.
Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Immediate zero-tolerance termination and referral to global law enforcement agencies.
Copyright Infringement & Piracy: Hosting unlicensed warez, torrent trackers, cracked software distribution hubs, or streaming pirate content.

3. Permitted & Supported Workloads

We actively encourage and optimize our network for legitimate high-performance use cases:

Game Servers (FiveM GTA V, Minecraft, Rust, SA-MP, CS2, Palworld).
Discord Bots, Lavalink audio streaming nodes, and automation services.
Production Web Apps, REST/GraphQL APIs, and microservice clusters.
Managed Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Redis, MongoDB).
VPNs & WireGuard proxies for private personal/corporate use.

4. Fair Resource Usage

While our VPS instances feature dedicated RAM and NVMe SSD allocations, CPU cores operate on fair-share virtualization models. Sustained 100% CPU utilization across all cores for excessive periods without prior arrangement may be throttled to preserve host stability.
